Aswan essentials, Abu Simbel and archipelago sightseeing

Duration: 3 days / 2 nights
Fitness Level: Moderate

The tour starts with a visit to the Nubian Museum. Due to the importance of the material that was rescued from tombs, temples and settlements in Lake Nasser before the construction of the High Dam, UNESCO planned a museum in Aswan to exhibit the unique Nubian heritage.

Then you will sail in the archipelago on board your private felucca around tropical-like islands. A light picnic lunch and an afternoon tea will be served on board. You will end the day with a Nubian dinner full of exotic taste. The dinner will be followed by a drum show performed by the locals around a campfire on the Glory of Nubia private island. Feel free to join the dance!

On the second day you will visit Philae Temple and Abu Simbel (departure to Abu Simbel with the 10:30 convoy). You will be back in Aswan at about 19:00.

You will spend the first and second nights in a private tent on the island. Alternatively, you can choose to sleep on your private felucca.

On the the third day you will sail in the archipelago on board your private felucca around tropical-like islands. You will visit the Botanical Garden and the Monastery of St. Simeom on camels. A light picnic lunch will be served on board. You will end the tour sailing back to Aswan and enjoying an afternoon tea at sunset.
